My name is Nivia Harris, a board certified occupational therapy assistant. I specialize in working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities across the lifespan. Aside from Sensory Pathway, I am also a COTA at Hackensack Meridian assisting young adults to transition into their adulthood. Some of the few things I address to increase their life skills are cooking, money management, expanding functional communication, and going out in the community. I received my B.S. at William Paterson University and advanced my career in retrieving my A.A.S in Occupational Therapy at Rutgers School of Health Professions. My goal is to add value for individuals across the life span through supportive interventions and using positive strategies to increase independence for all.
